School Leadership Courses
Whether you are a head teacher or your part of the senior school leadership team, I have a range of online school leadership training courses that can give you the support you need. These 5 masterclasses are online webinars that assist in your development. By undertaking these leadership training courses, you will obtain a range of downloads and practical strategies that can help you underpin your daily leadership journey.
The following sessions are 45 minutes each and can be scheduled to suit your school leaders. Those who undertake the webinars will have access to it for 7 days after the session to refer to and make additional notes.
Leadership Training Courses
Session 1: Setting (or re-setting!) an appropriate vision. In this lesson, we’ll develop gravitas and a clear communication of your ideas. This will aim to enhance your confidence as a leader and help you to secure buy-in from your team.
Session 2: How to effectively lead your department/team. Here we will conduct analysis of various data allowing us to create an effective audit of your individual/team/school strengths and weaknesses. This will allow you to know your staff better and be able to move forward with a heightened confidence.
Session 3: How to handle the difficulties of leadership. This will go over the most common challenges that are faced including, holding staff accountable of mistakes, undergoing challenging conversations, effective line management of post holders and dealing with difficult staff.
Session 4: Effective observation of your teams. We will cover undertaking lesson observations, learning walks and observation of staff practice. We will discuss how you should appropriately give, receive and manage the feedback.
Session 5: How to evaluate progress of your team. In the final session, I’ll assist you on articulating team progress to senior leaders or outside agencies, including what to do if things go wrong!
